24-year-old Moussa Ndiaye has joined SV Werder Bremen on a season-long loan from RSC Anderlecht.
The Green-Whites confirmed the signing of the left-back on Tuesday afternoon.
“Moussa is a technically gifted and energetic full-back who already has experience in German football,” said Peter Niemeyer, Werder’s head of professional football.
“He gives us another option on the left side of defence and can also play as a centre-back. We are convinced that he will be a valuable addition to our squad.”
Ndiaye played for FC Barcelona at youth level before joining Anderlecht in 2022. He spent the second half of last season on loan at Schalke 04 and is now looking forward to returning to Germany.
“I already know German football and some of the Bundesliga stadiums, and I know how intense and passionate football is played here. Werder are a club with a great tradition, and I had a good feeling from the very beginning of our discussions. I want to use my experience to help the team," he said.
