ESPN Unlimited Launches on YouTube TV, Expanding Access to Live Sports

YouTube TV has officially added ESPN Unlimited to its offerings, allowing subscribers to enjoy a vast array of live sporting events. This new feature is part of a broader agreement between Google and Disney, which was finalized in November 2025, following a brief two-week blackout of Disney-owned channels on the streaming platform.

With ESPN Unlimited now available, YouTube TV joins other pay-TV providers like Hulu + Live TV, Fubo TV, DirecTV, and Comcast Xfinity in offering this extensive sports package. The addition is timely, as Disney has recently announced price increases for its standalone streaming services, with ESPN Unlimited's monthly fee rising from $29.99 to $31.99 as of September 17, 2026.

Subscribers to YouTube TV's main plan, which costs $82.99 per month, can now access a wealth of content beyond the standard ESPN and ESPN2 channels. ESPN Unlimited includes programming from ESPNU, ESPNews, ESPN Deportes, the SEC Network, ACC Network, and thousands of additional live sporting events throughout the year. This expansive library covers major events such as the U.S. Open tennis tournament, NCAA College Football, PGA Tour golf, and WWE Premium Live Events, among others.

In addition to live sports, users will have access to popular studio shows, ESPN originals, and the complete "30 for 30" documentary series. The integration of ESPN Unlimited into YouTube TV also brings features like unlimited DVR, real-time scores and stats, and multiview options, all conveniently accessible through the YouTube TV app.

YouTube TV is enhancing the user experience with an upgraded interface designed to simplify content discovery. The live guide now displays three rows of currently airing events from ESPN Unlimited, along with a dedicated network row for easier navigation. For games with multiple feeds, viewers can choose between different language options, home and away broadcasts, and alternate camera angles, all clearly labeled in the updated station picker.

Moreover, YouTube TV has introduced a Fantasy View feature that supports ESPN Fantasy Football. This allows users to link their ESPN accounts through YouTube TV settings, enabling them to track their fantasy teams during live NFL games as the season approaches.

The addition of ESPN Unlimited to YouTube TV marks a significant development for sports fans, offering an extensive range of content and improved viewing capabilities. As the competition among streaming services intensifies, this partnership between Google and Disney reflects a growing trend toward providing comprehensive sports coverage to meet the demands of viewers.
