Odell Beckham Jr. finally got his wish. After weeks of practicing with the New York Giants and hoping that he would make the final cut, the former LSU Tigers star wide receiver learned on Sunday that he was among those who survived the final roster cuts across the league.
Beckham is indeed back with the team that drafted him in the league, and he will be suiting up for New York in Week 1 of the 2026 NFL season.
The 33-year-old Beckham attended all New York practices and apparently impressed enough in the offseason to reach his goal of convincing the NFC East team he is worthy of one of the 53 spots on its roster.
“It would mean everything to me if I made it,” Beckham said in the Giants’ preseason finale against the New York Jets at MetLife Stadium at East Rutherford.

“Forever. My heart bleed blue,” the three-time Pro Bowler Beckham wrote in the post that comes with a video of the city.

Odell Beckham Jr. joins Malachi Fields, Darnell Mooney, Malik Nabers and Darius Slayton in the wide receiver room.
Selected 12th overall by the Giants in the first round of the 2014 NFL Draft, Beckham last played in the NFL with the Miami Dolphins in 32, appearing in only nine games and recording just 55 receiving yards with zero touchdowns on nine catches and 18 targets.
