2 Panthers greats teaming up for new podcast

If you absolutely cannot get enough Carolina Panthers content, then you're in luck. Another Panthers-themed podcast is in the works, pairing together two of the franchise's greatest players in its history.

Former quarterback Jake Delhomme (1999 to 2009) and former running back Jonathan Stewart (2008 to 2017) are set to team up for a new podcast, which is appropriately entitled The Handoff.

Team reporter Darin Gantt shared the details on Thursday:

The Panthers legends bring their firsthand experience and unique perspectives to the biggest stories surrounding the team, breaking down the latest news, sharing memories and giving fans an inside look at Carolina football from two of the franchise's most accomplished players.

Delhomme is, of course, an experienced podcaster—having previously worked with Panthers legendary left tackle Jordan Gross on their show, Jordan and Jake. But now that Gross has taken up duties as the offensive line coach at his alma mater, the University of Utah, Delhomme will be teaming back up with another old friend.

J-Stew, the organization's all-time leader rusher, has also dipped his foot into podcasting waters. He previously took part in the Locked on Panthers network pod with a couple of other hosts.

The first episode debuted yesterday, with new episodes continuing to drop on Wednesdays throughout the rest of the season.
