Fourth-starting Bobby Pierce took advantage of lapped traffic to slip past early leader Nick Hoffman on lap 15, then controlled the remainder of Tuesday’s 50-lap FloRacing Night in America Series feature at Marshalltown Speedway.
Pierce went largely unchallenged once he took the lead and pulled away following a lap-34 restart to beat Brandon Sheppard by 2.763 seconds. The victory marked Pierce’s first on the series this season and the 11th of his career, adding to his all-time leading total on the sixth-year tour.
