With the NFL's regular season rapidly approaching, there are various former Texas A&M stars set to make their mark on the fantasy football landscape in 2026.
The Aggies' pipeline to the league has only grown stronger over the last few months, after they tied a program record with 10 players selected in this year's NFL Draft. That list includes first-rounder wide receiver KC Concepcion, who has flashed in the preseason for the Cleveland Browns and continues to make waves as the potential steal of the draft.
Meanwhile, a host of former Texas A&M players are set to embark on new journeys with their respective franchises in 2026, including wideouts Christian Kirk and Mike Evans, both of whom are together in San Francisco. Miami Dolphins running back De'Von Achane has a new head coach and quarterback, but remains as electric and dangerous as ever in South Beach.
As you prepare your cheat sheets and projected picks for your fantasy league drafts, here are the three former Texas A&M players who could be outstanding options for your team this year:
3. KC Concepcion - WR, Cleveland Browns2025 stats: Texas A&M - 61 REC | 919 YDS | 9 TD | 10 CAR | 75 YDS | 1 TD | 2 RET TD
2025 fantasy football points: N/A
2026 fantasy football projections: N/R per Field Yates' fantasy football PPR rankings
While the rookie isn't on any fantasy football PPR rankings yet, he will play a major role in Cleveland's offense in his first NFL season. Concepcion was one of the top wide receivers and return specialists in college football for Texas A&M in 2025 and earned various honors for his achievements, including being named the winner of the Paul Hornung Award, which is given to college football's most versatile player. He showcased his electric speed and elite ability as a punt returner in the Browns' preseason contest against the Bears, scoring his first NFL touchdown on a rush play in the red zone. Concepcion is a versatile playmaker that Cleveland will likely use early and often, as they look to regain their competitiveness in the AFC North.
2. Mike Evans - WR, San Francisco 49ers2025 stats: 30 REC | 368 YDS | 3 TD
2025 fantasy football points: 10.6 FPTS/G | 84.8 FPTS
2026 fantasy football projections: No. 35 wide receiver and No. 85 overall player per Field Yates' fantasy football PPR rankings
Entering his 13th season in the NFL, Evans will be with a new team for the first time in his professional career in 2026. He signed with the 49ers as a free agent this offseason, landing him with head coach Kyle Shanahan and quarterback Brock Purdy, who has been a solid and consistent signal-caller over the last couple of years. In his first 12 seasons in the league, Evans recorded at least 1,000 yards receiving, making him one of the top wide receivers in the NFL. However, an injury kept him sidelined for the majority of last season, preventing Evans from achieving great things on the gridiron and for fantasy owners. He should be a big piece of the 49ers' offense and for fantasy football leagues in 2026.
1. De'Von Achane - RB, Miami Dolphins2025 stats: 238 CAR | 1,350 YDS | 8 TD | 67 REC | 488 YDS | 4 TD
2025 fantasy football points: 20.2 FPTS/G | 322.8 FPTS
2026 fantasy football projections: No. 5 running back and No. 8 overall player per Field Yates' fantasy football PPR rankings
Achane has been a go-to running back for all fantasy football owners over the last couple of years. He's put up massive numbers for the Dolphins, including recording at least 800 yards rushing and 150 yards receiving in his first three NFL seasons. While he might not be the top overall option on the board, especially with the status of the team in Miami surrounding Achane, he remains one of the best running backs in the league entering 2026.
