Bradley Beal is returning to the LA Clippers.
The three-time All-Star has agreed to a two-year, $13.2 million deal with the Clippers, according to ESPN's Shams Charania. The second season includes a player option.
"Beal opted out of his deal to scan his own market and give the Clippers roster flexibility to explore options using salary space," wrote Charania. "Ultimately, the Clippers landed on a significant raise for a new contract."
The Clippers and Miami Heat were mentioned as possible landing spots for Beal in free agency, but NBA insider Jake Fischer said he wouldn't rule out the Boston Celtics as an option because of his connection with Jayson Tatum.
Beal has previously described his relationship with Tatum as "special."

Beal appeared in six games with the Clippers last season before suffering a season-ending injury. In 20.2 minutes per game, he averaged 8.2 points, 1.7 assists and 0.8 rebounds while shooting 37.5 percent from the field.
Beal, 33, was last an All-Star in 2020-21, when he averaged a career-best 31.1 points per game.
Beal has earned over $300 million in his NBA career, making him one of the highest-paid players of all time.
