A day after his heavy crash at the Vuelta a España, cycling star Tadej Pogačar posted a picture from the hospital on Instagram.
Despite the dramatic situation, Pogačar hasn't lost his sense of humour and the picture was accompanied by Bee Gees' hit "Satyin' Alive."
The five-time Tour de France winner suffered a collarbone and cervical fracture after crashing during the eighth stage.
The Slovenian's season is likely over. His hopes of defending his world title in Montreal on September 27 look impossible given collarbone breaks usually require six weeks to heal.
The Vuelta a España is the only Grand Tour missing from Pogačar's list of victories. He also won the Giro d'Italia in 2024.
