The baseball might not be very good, but the food is.

According to a study by Yelp, Citi Field, home of the New York Mets, has the best game-day food for 2026.

“Yelp’s 2026 Top Stadium Eats list ranks 50 venues across every major American sports league based on what visitors are actually saying in their reviews,” it said in its study.

So if you have Mets tickets after they’re eliminated from postseason play, at least you can get a good meal out of it.

Here are the highest ranked sports venues in driving distance to the Jersey Shore.

Citi Field: No. 1

According to the study, Citi Field was tops for delivering some of the most delicious and diverse food, including a corned beef, kimchi fennel, and Russian dressing stacked on toasted rye. Or try the Willets Point Brewery’s 9-9-9 Challenge, which includes nine mini Nathan  hot dogs and nine four oz. beers. That’s certainly one way to enjoy the Mets.

Madison Square Garden: No. 15

The home of the New York Knicks and New York Rangers cracks the top 20. The Fully Loaded Prime Rib Sandwich from Pat LaFrieda comes highly recommended.

Yankee Stadium: No. 21

Just missing out on cracking the top 20 is New York’s other baseball stadium. The Mini Dessert "Chicken" Bucket, an ice cream cone shaped like a chicken leg is the item worth trying.

Citizens Bank Park: No. 34

The Phillies ballpark in Philadelphia comes in at 34. If you’re looking for a unique French fry, order up some Chickie’s and Pete’s crab fries. You may need three or four orders to make a nine-inning game.

USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center: No. 40

One that wouldn’t jump out for making this list is the Billie Jean King tennis center, but one taste of its Salt Hank’s Roast Beef Sandwich and you’d know why it’s on there.
