His commitment to the program and loyalty to head coach Nick Saban and current coach Kalen DeBoer has been evident, as his father, Mark Hubbard, expressed in a recent interview. "He’s been loyal to coach Saban and now he’s loyal to coach DeBoer. He’s like, ‘I committed to play here, and this is where I want to play and this is where I’m going to graduate,’" Mark noted.
Ryan Coleman-Williams, who reclassified to join the Crimson Tide in 2024, has been a focal point of attention since his arrival. After a breakout freshman season, he faced challenges in 2025 but still managed to record 97 receptions for 1,554 yards and 14 touchdowns over two seasons. He signed up for it. He’s great with it. He embraces it. He gives everything he has to his teammates. I love the guy. So glad he’s on our side." His growth as a leader has been noted by his teammates, including defensive back Dijon Lee Jr., who remarked on Brown's transformation from a quieter presence in the locker room to a more vocal leader. "He’s not really quiet. I mean, like probably quiet to a lot of other people, but you know that’s my guy right there, so we talk a lot. But you know, seeing him step up as a leader is just it’s inspirational because I mean I seen him be the quiet guy in the locker room," Lee said.
