Arizona high school football. Scores, updates Aug. 21, 2026

The first week of the 2026 Arizona high school football season gets underway this week. It began with two games on Thursday, Aug. 20, and continues on Friday, Aug. 21, with a full slate of games in the AIA's 1A, 2A and 3A conferences.

Among key games are defending 3A champion Round Valley visiting Seton Catholic in Chandler, and Queen Creek Benjamin Franklin, The Republic's 3A preseason No. 1, visiting Dysart High in El Mirage.

The big schools in 4A, 5A and 6A will begin play next week, Aug. 27-29
