In an exciting development for Arizona women’s basketball, rising star Corrine Lomax has officially committed to the program. The 2027 recruit made her decision following a visit to the University of Arizona last weekend, announcing her commitment early on Thursday, September 3.
Lomax, a 5-foot-11 wing player, has been making waves in the recruiting landscape. She first appeared in ESPN’s rankings for the 2027 class at No. 90 back in June, but her consistent performances have propelled her up the charts, currently placing her at No. 65. Her talent has drawn interest from several top programs, with her official visits initially planned for Arizona, Georgia, Texas A&M, and Penn State.
While she is not currently ranked by 247Sports or Rivals, 247Sports recognizes her as a four-star recruit. The differences in rankings stem from the varying scopes of the services, with ESPN ranking 100 players compared to about 60 by the other two outlets. Additionally, Prospects Nation has also rated Lomax as a four-star prospect, including her in its Elite 150 list, although she remains outside their top 60 rankings.

In addition to her high school achievements, Lomax plays club basketball for Lady Rivals on the Adidas 3SSB circuit.
