Arsenal have asked Galatasaray about the availability of Victor Osimhen during talks between the clubs regarding Gabriel Martinelli and Ethan Nwaneri.
Arsenal have broached the subject regarding the Galatasaray forward, as the Gunners look to make a statement signing in the final third.
The Premier League champions had been keen on a deal for Vinicius Junior, prior to the wingersigning a new contract at Real Madrid, and Morgan Rogers, before his £117m transfer to Chelsea.
An enquiry about Osimhen has now been made as Arsenal turn towards a number nine, with summer signing Christos Tzolis having had an impressive pre-season from the left wing.
According toThe Telegraph, Arsenal have asked Galatasaray what it would take to sign the Nigerian, who has scored 59 goals in 74 games across two seasons in Turkey. Osimhen was outstanding in the Champions League last season, scoring seven times in 10 appearances.
Galatasaray have been in talks with Arsenal over a deal to sign Gabriel Martinelli. The Süper Lig champions have tabled a €45m (£38.4m) offer for the Brazilian, whose Arsenal contract expires in 2027. Galatasaray are also interested in signing Ethan Nwaneri, who is considering his options after spending last season on loan at Marseille.
Arsenal are exploring whether a deal for Osimhen can be done with the use of Martinelli and/or Nwaneri as part of the deal. The Turkish side reportedly rejected a €130m (£111m) offer from Saudi Pro League side Al-Hilal for Osimhen earlier this week.
