Bobbleheads, Braves gear and more!
The Atlanta Braves begin a seven-game homestand at Truist Park on Tuesday night. The National League East division leaders will host the Los Angeles Dodgers for three games (Aug. 25-27), followed by three games against the Colorado Rockies (Aug. 28-30), and one game against the San Francisco Giants (Aug. 31).

The weeklong homestand features themed promotional nights, fan giveaway items and customized regional menu offerings inspired by visiting opponents.
Thursday marks the team’s annual Harry Potter night at Truist Park. Fans who purchase the special ticket package receive a game ticket and a Draco Baldwin bobblehead, combining Potter character Draco Malfoy with Atlanta Braves rookie catcher Drake Baldwin.
Jori Palmer, senior director for the Atlanta Braves, detailed the promotional item.
“Thursday, we’ve got our annual Potter night,” Palmer told WSB-TV’s Nelson Hicks. “So with this ticket package, you get a game ticket and then this lovely Draco Baldwin bobblehead. So a nice little fun off of the nefarious character, Draco Malfoy, but with (our) rookie of the year catcher, Drake Baldwin. So that’s a lot of fun.”
Friday is designated as HBCU night, featuring a pregame party at the Roxy, marching band performances in the plaza and an HBCU ticket package bobblehead.
Saturday’s schedule centers on Hunting and Fishing night.
“So the first 15,000 fans through the gates will get the camo jersey,” Palmer said. “It features Chipper Jones name and number on the back because we all know Chipper is an avid outdoorsman, but the best part of all, too, is that the Georgia Department of Natural Resources is coming and bringing over a dozen activations.”
Don’t miss the animal ambassadors such as alligators and snakes on a trip to Truist.
On Sunday, the first 3,000 children entering the stadium will receive a sliding mit. The ballpark hosts Clemson Day on Sunday, too. If you’re a Clemson fan, head out and enjoy a day at the park with other Tiger fans.
Now, let’s talk about the food. Truist Park introduces a new dish for each home series during the season, inspired by the region the opponent hails from.
“For (the) Colorado Rockies, it’s out in the mountains; there’s a lot of game out there,” Truist Park executive chef Jaco Dreyer said. “So we thought it appropriate to do the elk burger, so actually two elk patties with caramelized onions, smoked cheddar cheese and then our huckleberry barbecue. (For) the LA Dodgers, we thought it appropriate to make the elote, or the street corn, with the lime crema and the green onions with the charred corn. So yeah, that’s what we got going on for this series.”

First pitch for games Tuesday through Friday is scheduled for 7:15 p.m. Saturday’s game begins at 4:10 p.m., Sunday’s game starts at 1:35 p.m. and Monday’s series finale is set for 6:05 p.m.
