Maple Grove Raceway in Mohnton, Berks County, is closing and suspending all racing, according to a social media post by the raceway on Monday.
The post said the raceway will undergo “strategic refocusing, restructuring and regrouping.”
The post also said, “We appreciate the patience and understanding of our racing community, fans, partners, and supporters during this unforseen and challenging time.”
The raceway said it would provide additional information and updates as events warranted.
This past December, the International Hot Rod Association bought Maple Grove from the Koretsky family.
The speedway has been a Berks County racing institution since the early 1960s.
