On Sunday, the day NFL teams had to cut rosters to 53 players, the Jaguars released backup quarterbacks Nick Mullens, Joey Aguilar and Carter Bradley. The cuts followed Saturday’s signing of QB Quinn Ewers from Miami to join starter Trevor Lawrence on the team’s final roster.

The Jaguars also waived linebackers Jack Kiser, a fourth-round pick last year, and Yasir Abdullah, a fifth-round pick in 2023 who had shown promise.
