Barcelona star Marc Casadó has been left less than impressed by recent developments behind the scenes at the club. That’s according to Blaugrana insider Gerard Romero, who has this weekend provided an insight into the situation.
Midfielder Casadó is of course widely expected to be on the move before the month is out. Identified as surplus to requirements in Hansi Flick’s squad, the Spaniard has been asked to find a new club with a view to the season ahead.
Casadó, a lifelong Barca supporter and La Masia youth product, has been left understandably disappointed by these developments.
Still, the Spaniard has remained professional, working alongside super agent Jorge Mendes to grant the wishes of the Camp Nou brass for an amicable parting of ways.
As alluded to above, though, in the midst of the saga, one decision did recently leave Casadó altogether frustrated with his long-time employers.
As revealed by journalist Gerard Romero, speaking on his official Twitch channel on Saturday, the 22-year-old was upset with the call made by the Barcelona brass to hand his jersey number (17) to summer signing Anthony Gordon.
