SGV Heilbronn-Freiberg U-19 0-4 Bayern U-19, Matchday 2
Bayern lineup (with subs): Nadler – Horvath (72. Moumouni), Konstantinos, Gashi, Nuraj – Snip (46. Schaff), Matosevic (63. Osmani) – Afanou (46. Horoszczak), Maric (72. Av. Hentcho Nseke), Imade (46. Ar. Hentcho Nseke) – von Taube.
Goals: 0:1 Maric (13.), 0:2 von Taube (14.), 0:3 Maric (20.), 0:4 Schaff (73.)
Unused subs: Röhlk
Position: 1., 6 points
Ultimately, SGV Heilbronn-Freiberg is a huge underdog in this U-19 group and are expected to be at or near the bottom of the group. That is part of the reason as to why U-19 head coach Leonard Haas spoke about his disappointment at being unable to extend the lead further in this game against minnows.
Having said all that, a 4-0 away win is nothing to sneeze at. A week after pummeling SpVgg Unterhaching 4-0, the team repeated the trick against Heilbronn-Freiberg. Key to the victory was new signing Matteo Marić, who bagged two goals that simply oozed with technique and star quality. Star striker and midfielder, Philipp von Taube and Simon Schaff, chipped in as well to seal the victory, though Schaff only made it from the bench this time.
Bayern U-17 3-0 SpVgg Unterhaching U-17, Matchday 2
Bayern lineup (with subs): Omerovic – Herber, Fichtl, Schreyer (46. Mahr), Etüz – Ciglar, Mujic (46. Rieber), Zubovic – Ludwig, Krasniqi (81. Dachgruber), Hiseni (46. Ebert).
Goals: 1:0 Krasniqi (19.), 2:0 Krasniqi (penalty/37.), 3:0 Zubovic (85.).
Position: 2., 6 points
The U-17s did as the U-19s managed last weekend and overcame SpVgg Unterhaching’s respective youth team to record a big victory. Unlike the U-19s, however, the scoreline was not a fair representation of the game. It was a contest throughout, with a bright opening from Bayern and strong pressing from Krasniqi leading with the opening before Unterhaching hit back with two huge opportunities. Now against the run of play, Krasniqi used his pace to win a penalty and convert it himself to double the lead.
After coming out from half time, both teams created multiple chances. Both teams hit the woodwork, Unterhaching missed an open goal after the rounding the goalkeeper and Bayern grabbed a third through Deni Zubovic in the 85th minute.
The flattering 3-0 scoreline sees Bayern in 2nd place, just behind 1st placed Nürnberg on goals scored alone.
