Bayern Munich head of sport Max Eberl is confident going into negotiations with striker Harry Kane over a new contract at the German double winners.

"I think he feels comfortable. We are super happy that he is with us," the 52-year-old told reporters about the England captain as he was awarded the Golden Shoe as Europe's top scorer on Wednesday.

"Now we just have to clarify the details that are part of football too. But I don't think the parameters are that bad."

Kane's deal runs out at the end of this season, but he has consistently indicated he is happy in Munich.

The 33-year-old has also said his urge to return to England at some point has lessened.
