The Chicago Bears almost came away unscathed after their 34-10 blowout win over the Cleveland Browns. Unfortunately, they couldn't completely escape the injury bug.

After the game, head coach Ben Johnson revealed a few players left early due to injuries, including Nephi Sewell and Ruben Hyppolite. The most notable injury, however, is veteran safety Xavier Woods, who suffered a groin injury early on and didn't return.

The Bears have been tested in the secondary during training camp with injuries to key starters. Cornerback Kyler Gordon is still on the physically unable to perform (PUP) list, defensive back Cam Lewis has been in and out of the lineup, and safety Coby Bryant is out for much of the regular season. Woods, a 10-year veteran, was brought in after Bryant's injury to compete for a starting job, and now he's dealing with his own issue.

We'll see how the Bears shuffle their safeties around once again, but hopefully Woods isn't out for long.
