Bears unveil new alternative ‘NFL Rivalries’ uniform

LAKE FOREST, Ill. — The Chicago Bears have unveiled a new alternative uniform that will be worn on Christmas against the Packers.

It's part of the new NFL rivalries program. The uniforms were part of the NFC North and AFC South teams getting them this year and it started in 2025 with the NFC West and AFC East.

According to the Bears, the jerseys are inspired by 1948.

They feature orange numbers on a navy jersey, an orange helmet with a navy "C" and orange pants.

The new uniform also features navy socks with orange stripes and will be worn Week 16 at home against the Packers.

Green Bay also got an alternative uniform and it will be worn Week 5 up in Wisconsin.

The uniforms may be worn next year as well because teams that received them last year are wearing them this season as well for a select game.

The Bears wrap up their preseason schedule Saturday against the Titans. They open the 2026 season on the road against the Panthers on Sept. 13.
