The Cincinnati Bengals face the Philadelphia Eagles at Lincoln Financial Field in the preseason finale before Week 1 of the NFL season. Kickoff is scheduled for 8 p.m. and the game will be broadcast on Local 12 (WKRC-TV).
Neither the Bengals nor the Eagles will play their starters in the game.
Bengals wide receiver Ja'Marr Chase suffered a hyperextension to his left knee in practice on Aug. 26, but said he was good and would be playing if the team had a game the next day. The only other injury to a Bengals starter in camp was to second-year defensive end Shemar Stewart, who suffered a hyperextended left knee on the first day of training camp and has yet to return to practice.
The NFL deadline for teams to cut down to the 53-man roster limit is Aug 30 at 6 p.m. While the Bengals don't have any competitions for starting positions, tonight's game will likely decide who fills out the depth rolls at the bottom of the roster.
