The Buffalo Bills are slated to face off against the Carolina Panthers on Saturday, August 15, for the first preseason game of the year for the Bills in their new stadium.

But, as is the case with preseason games, a lot of the time there won't be many starters on the field. However, that is not looking to be the case for this upcoming preseason game.

Dan Fetes of 13WHAM reports that Bills head coach Joe Brady announced that the starters who are healthy will actually get onto the field during the preseason opener. That means Josh Allen and all the other healthy starters will get a chance to play in the preseason.

"Everybody that's healthy is going to be playing on Saturday," Brady told reporters and Fetes on Thursday.

That means that, as long as a player is healthy and good to go, they're going to be available and playing in the Saturday preseason opener in Buffalo.

Allen will likely be on the field with DJ Moore, Keon Coleman, Khalil Shakir, James Cook, and the other starters on Saturday.

This is a good chance to see the starting offense and defense in action in Highmark Stadium before the regular season begins.

Brady is getting his healthy starters on the field, and barring any injury concerns, Allen and the normal starters should be on the field in this preseason opener.

This is going to be an exciting preseason game for the Bills. Instead of normal preseason games where very few of the regular starters are actually playing, the Bills will have their starters active and playing in this one.

Of course, they're probably only going to get a drive or two at most, as they don't want to risk injury. But Bills fans will get to see the starters for part of the first preseason game, which is plenty of reason for fans to tune in on Saturday.
