After his first loss in years, Anthony Hernandez attempted to bounce back versus Middleweight powerhouse Gregory Rodrigues, earlier tonight (Sat., Aug. 22, 2026) at UFC Sacramento LIVE on Paramount+ from inside Golden 1 Center in Sacramento, California. After five rounds of action, Rodrigues walked away with a unanimous decision victory.

In addition to the Middleweight headliner, UFC Sacramento featured a deep card full of familiar faces, as well as some vicious finishes and a couple back-and-forth wars. Check out some of the key moments below and let us know which performances stand out the most!

  • Roman Dolidze immediately pulled guard, hunted for a leg lock, and then got hit over 100 times by Reinier de Ridder en route to a quick stoppage loss.
  • MarQuel Mederos became the first man to stop Mason Jones after landing about four vicious elbows right on the jaw.
  • Carli Judice broke down Jeisla Chaves with body shots and a fight-finishing front kick to the belly in the very first round.
  • Anthony Wint secured his second win in 11 days with a powerful arm triangle strangle of Terrance Chapman.
  • Odds makers expected Lerryann Douglas to knock out Jamall Emmers. Instead, the 37-year-old “Pretty Boy” walked Douglas into a beautiful 1-2 for a quick KO of his own!
  • Kennedy Nzechukwu decided to debut a new style of fighting with his hands by his waist, so Shamil Gazievknocked him out cold in about a minute.
  • Chris Padilla vs. Nasrat Haqparast wasn’t necessarily a fun fight, but “Taco” turned it up late to score a wild standing arm triangle submission at the final bell.
  • Marcio Barbosa picked up his second UFC win similar to his first: a nasty left hook that put his opponent on the floor!
  • Jackson McVey denied the grappling of Wes Schultz then floored him with a brutal knee to the body.
  • Shanelle Dyer pummeled Elise Reed from the first bell until a couple minutes into the third round, scoring her second UFC win in style.

Now that the Octagon action has come to a close, let’s take a closer look at the official UFC Sacramento post-fight bonus winners. Remember, each winner gets an extra $100,000, while every fighter leftover who earned a finish gets $25,000.
