10/21 vs. Utah Jazz: Memphis' season and home opener vs. JJJ
The Grizzlies will open things up at home this season with a matchup against the Jazz. It will be a showdown between two of the top picks in the 2026 NBA Draft, as No. 2 selection Darryn Peterson will take on No. 3 selection Cameron Boozer. The two players already met in Summer League play and put on a show. This will also be Memphis' first time facing star big man Jaren Jackson Jr. since trading him to Utah.

The Grizzlies put an end to the Ja Morant era by trading him to Portland this offseason, and they won't have to wait very long to see him in the 2026-27 season. The two teams will face off before October ends in what will be a road matchup for Memphis.
12/1 at Philadelphia 76ers: A crack at LeBron's Sixers
No team in the NBA has had a bigger offseason than the 76ers, who have added stars LeBron James and Jaylen Brown to the mix to insert themselves into title talks. The Grizzlies will get a couple of chances to see how they measure up against Philly this season, and the first opportunity will come on the first day of December.
12/16 vs. Miami Heat: First look at Giannis' new squad
While the 76ers have probably had the biggest overall offseason, the Heat arguably acquired the biggest domino. They landed two-time MVP Giannis Antetokounmpo in a trade with the Milwaukee Bucks and are trying to make some noise in the Eastern Conference. The Dec. 16 matchup is the first of two between the Grizzlies and Heat this season.
2/6 vs. Portland Trail Blazers: Ja's homecoming
After seeing their former franchise cornerstone on the road early in the season, the Grizzlies will welcome him back home in February. Memphis will host Morant's squad for two straight games on Feb. 6 and Feb. 8. His homecoming will be a big story.
2/15 vs. New York Knicks: First crack at last season's champs
After a magical run to win last season's NBA title, the Knicks are going to be hunted this season, and Memphis' first chance to see them will come in February. This will be a good measuring stick game for Boozer and company as they try to see just how far they truly are from hanging with the big boys.
