The Cleveland Browns' quarterback situation is among the most interesting in the NFL at the moment.

The Browns, who could go in multiple directions, are likely to choose between Deshaun Watson and Shedeur Sanders.

Reports and videos have indicated that Sanders and Watson have struggled. Not that Watson has proven a whole lot during his time in Cleveland, especially with the injuries, but he's been a better NFL quarterback than Sanders has throughout his career.

There's absolutely no way to deny that, mainly because he was one of the best five quarterbacks in the NFL at one point.

However, these injuries have become an issue for the veteran.

That's something the Browns are trying to be mindful of, but according to the Cleveland quarterbacks coach, Watson actually feels the best he ever has.

“In my conversations with Deshaun, his physical health came first, and I wanted to make sure there’d be no repercussion for him physically from what we were doing on the field,” Browns quarterbacks coach Mike Bajakian said, per Cleveland.com. “He’s assured me — he said, ‘Coach, I’m in the best shape of my life, let’s take the reins off and go.’ So it hasn’t been a consideration in anything we’ve done, physically or mentally, in his preparation.”

If it's actually possible that Watson can come in and be the quarterback that Cleveland was expecting him to be when it traded for him and gave him a massive extension, the Browns will be a lot better of a team than people are giving them credit for.

Their biggest issue in recent years has been their quarterback play, with Watson a big part of that, though it's possible that him being good to go could change everything for his career once again.
