Bild journalist Nico Linner captured some footage of Bryan Zaragoza jogging laps by himself at Säbener Straße and speculated that this could be his last work with Bayern Munich for a while. Zaragoza has reportedly been healthy enough to train with the team, but has not.
With a loan deal to Espanyol rumored to be on the horizon, Zaragoza could really be doing his last bit of work in a Bayern Munich training kit:
🔴⚪️ Dreht @BryanZaragoza_ hier seine vorerst letzten Laufrunden als Spieler des #FCBayern? Der Spanier wäre nach BILD-Infos eigentlich schon fit genug fürs Teamtraining, arbeitet aber individuell. Eine Vorsichtsmaßnahme? Seine Leihe zu @RCDEspanyol steht vor dem Abschluss. pic.twitter.com/9JWNVqRY4f
— Nico Linner (@linner_nicolas) August 24, 2026🔴⚪️ Is @BryanZaragoza_ running his final laps here as a #FCBayern player for now? According to BILD sources, the Spaniard is actually already fit enough for team training, but he’s still working individually. A precautionary measure? His loan to @RCDEspanyol is on the verge of completion.
Transfer journalist Fabrizio Romano is reporting that the Zaragoza deal is actually done with Espanyol and that there will be an obligation to buy clause included in the move:
🚨⚪️🔵 EXCL: Bryan Zaragoza to Espanyol, here we go! Deal agreed with FC Bayern after final stages revealed last night.
Deal done on loan with mandatory buy clause at €8m, Espanyol will buy Zaragoza — leaving Bayern permanently in June 2027.
Surely, Bayern Munich would rather sell Zaragoza outright, right now rather than loan him to Espanyol (even with the obligation to buy), but this is likely the only way that the club can end the relationship without dragging the situation out more.
