LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (KLRT) - The Bryant Hornets aren't shying away from competition this season.

The team will play one of the top teams in the country and the reigning national champs in the St. Frances Academy Panthers on September 11th at War Memorial Stadium in the Patriot Bowl.

"It gives families around the state a chance to come in and witness a great game, which should be a great game, a great atmosphere, and get to see high-level talent, you know, and I think there's a lot of people's dream, you know, a lot of people love high school football. But, as you hear around the world, you got to go to teach. You got to go to Texas. Well, now we're bringing it to Arkansas," Bryant head coach Quad Sanders said.

"The opportunity to fly into Arkansas and have such a culture, such a tradition with the Razorbacks and just the upbringing of the town and the place in the process, it's an honor to show up and compete against Brian High School, who has a rich tradition of seven out of eight championships. You can't get any better at the highest level," St. Frances head football coach Messay Hailemariam said.

The game between the two will take place at War Memorial Stadium on Sept. 11 at 7 p.m.
