Baseball has a long history with some of America’s most beloved food and beverage brands, and Budweiser has released their latest product in that context.

The MLB returned to Iowa in August with the Field of Dreams game in Dyersville played between the Philadelphia Phillies and the Minnesota Twins.

To commemorate this fact, the league announced a limited release collaboration with one of America’s most famous beverage brands, Budweiser.

Budweiser and Major League Baseball have shared a relationship for nearly half a century, and their latest collaboration is another in a long list going back to 1980.

In the past, many stars like Ken Griffey Jr., Randy Johnson, and Mike Piazza have worked with Budweiser in terms of fan events and content created for fans.

There have also been team-specific cans and other special edition releases involving the brand and the league. This latest product involves the batch being brewed with official MLB Marucci baseball bats.

“With baseball returning to Iowa, Budweiser has released a limited edition brew called Beechwood Reserve,” says a post on the MLB’s official Instagram page.

“Budweiser is aged with Beechwood chips, but to celebrate 150 years of baseball and Bud, they aged it with Beechwood baseball bats.”

The beverage was first made available for fans that attended the Field of Dreams game. Following that, it will only be available in select stores across Iowa, Minnesota, and Pennsylvania.
