Dallas Cowboys wide receiver CeeDee Lamb was the unfortunate victim of a home burglary during training camp before the 2026 NFL season.

Lamb is expected to play a key role for the Cowboys in the upcoming season but will have to deal with some personal troubles after his home in Fairview was targeted in a home robbery.

The 27-year-old was with the Cowboys in Oxnard, California, for training camp when the incident occurred on July 30, but The Star-Telegram confirmed it on August 22.

CeeDee Lamb loses property worth over $300,000 in home burglary

The Spit Bucket Podcast reported this on August 1 and provided evidence on August 21 before the Star-Telegram confirmed it on Saturday. Lamb lost four luxury bags worth over $300,000 in the robbery.

“The Fairview home of Dallas Cowboys wide receiver CeeDee Lamb was burglarized on July 30, and property worth over $300,000 was taken from the residence, according to Fairview Police Department records obtained by The Star-Telegram.”

There are no known suspects at the moment. The burglar reportedly entered through a broken window on the property, with the theft being confirmed after an individual working in the house called 9-1-1 after spotting the window.

Targeted home robberies when NFL players are away are not new, as this has happened to the likes of Kansas City Chiefs QB Patrick Mahomes, Cincinnati Bengals QB Joe Burrow, and Cleveland Browns QB Shedeur Sanders in recent years.

Cowboys camp has ended, and the players will return home on Sunday morning, so Lamb can properly assess the situation once he returns in preparation for the upcoming regular season.

Lamb will be focused on having 1,200+ yards in a dominant season for the Cowboys, who could be a major underdog this season if they address the major defensive problems that doomed their 2025 season.
