The Celtics and Warriors have been one of the NBA's most entertaining rivalries over the past decade.
This peaked when the two teams faced off in the 2022 NBA Finals, producing an entertaining six-game series that went in favor of Golden State, which won its fourth title in the Steph Curry era.
Even when the Warriors have had some down years in patches over the past decade or so, one specific thing has remained the same when they played the Celtics: the games were on national TV.
However, when the two teams meet this season, this TV streak will end, a streak that has spanned over a decade.
Celtics and Warriors Will See 11-Year Streak End This SeasonThe Celtics and Warriors have had their regular-season matchups nationally televised almost every time they've played each other in the last decade or so.
In fact, ever since their second matchup in the 2015-16 NBA season until now, the two teams have been on national TV in every game they've played.

On December 11, 2015, the Warriors went into TD Garden and beat the Celtics in a 2OT thriller, improving their record to 24-0 to start the season.

That will unfortunately come to an end this season, as the Celtics won't be on national TV when they play in Golden State this November.
The count will reset after their first game, ending a streak of 21 consecutive regular-season games played on national TV.
When you consider that they only play twice a year due to being in different conferences, it makes the streak even rarer.

Both teams have been must-watch TV in the last decade, with the Warriors having players like Steph Curry, Kevin Durant and Klay Thompson, while the Celtics have had stars such as Jayson Tatum, Jaylen Brown, Kyrie Irving and Isaiah Thomas.
Even if the game isn't nationally televised, Steph Curry against the Celtics is always must-watch TV and has left us with some classic contests.
The two teams will be on national TV when the Warriors visit the Celtics in February, which will start a new streak.
