Star kicker Harrison Butker has given the Kansas City Chiefs a nine-point lead over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in Week 2 of the 2026 NFL preseason.

A seasoned veteran, Butker was called on to kick a 69-yard field goal shortly before halftime during the exhibition contest, in which he had already scored two field goals in the second quarter.

The former Georgia Tech Yellow Jacket rose to the occasion, nailing the unbelievably long field goal to cement Kansas City's advantage at Raymond James Stadium before the halftime whistle blew.

Take a look at this video of Butker's incredible field goal, which was posted to Twitter by the Chiefs' official account:

While Kansas City has the upper hand on Tampa Bay through two quarters of play, the Chiefs would be wise to avoid relying on Butker for the entirety of their scoring output in the second half of this hotly contested preseason showdown.
