The Angels (52-79) recalled Christian Moore on Aug. 22 from Triple-A affiliate Salt Lake. He played in two contests in a three-game series against Texas.
The Rangers won the series, 2-1, at Globe Life Field in Arlington, Texas.
Moore went 1-for-8 in the series and hit one double in Sunday's Game 3. He also struck out four times. Moore started at second base in both contests.
The former Vol played in his first MLB game since June 26. He has appeared in eight games in 2026 after playing in 53 contests as a rookie in 2025 for Los Angeles.
Moore has recorded a .179 batting average, five hits (one double), one RBI, one walk, six total bases and 15 strikeouts in 28 at-bats this season for the Angels. He is also 0-for-1 in stolen base attempts.
Moore has played in 86 games at Salt Lake in 2026, recording a .302 batting average, 11 home runs, 25 doubles, six triples, 60 RBIs, 83 runs, 171 total bases, 73 walks, 94 strikeouts and 15 stolen bases in 334 at-bats.
