The Eagles are getting ready for their first preseason game against the Ravens on Saturday, and the list of injured players continues to grow. In addition to DeVonta Smith and Makai Lemon missing their seventh and eighth practice, respectively, three cornerbacks were added to Monday’s practice injury report, including Cooper DeJean and Quinyon Mitchell.

DeJean left practice early last week, but returned the next day, so it’s unclear if this groin injury is related or something new. The team may just be giving him, and others, some extra rest, and letting the guys playing on Saturday get extra reps.

Hopefully, the team is just being cautious with getting Smith and Lemon back on the field. Smith has been seen grabbing a coaches headset at the beginning of practice, and staying involed that way. Meanwhile, Lemon has been hitting the jugs machine, and even got some work with Jalen Hurts after practice on Thursday.
