I recently had the opportunity to sit down with Nebraska volleyball senior and one of the nation’s top middle blockers, Andi Jackson, for a conversation about her journey as a Husker and what lies ahead in her final season.
Andi shares what Coach John Cook said that convinced her to come to Nebraska, how NIL has changed college volleyball since her freshman year, and how the intense competition inside the Husker gym continues to push her game.
We also talk about being named to the Oikos All-Strength Team, the role nutrition and high-quality protein play in her training, and preparing to play on some incredible stages this season, including under the lights at AT&T Stadium and Wrigley Field.
And with one final run together, Andi reflects on the special sisterhood between the “Core Four” — Andi, Bergen Reilly, Harper Murray and Laney Choboy — and what they want their legacy at Nebraska to be.
