WASHINGTON (DC News Now) — Each year, Friendship Collegiate is one of the top teams in the District of Columbia.
Last year, for the fourth straight season, Friendship posted at least nine wins.
After winning the DCSAA title in 2022 and 2023, the Knights fell short in the playoffs in 2024 and 2025.
As Friendship is hoping to earn another ring this year, head coach Mike Hunter and his team previewed their 2026 season with DC News Now sports reporter Alex Flum.
Friendship will begin its season in Brooklyn, New York on Friday, August 28 at Eagle Academy for Young Men II.
