CPL 2026 will see a total of seven teams competing for the glory this year, with a new franchise from Jamaica being added to the roster. Jamaica Kingsmen will lock horns against the Antigua and Barbuda Falcons in the opening game of the tournament on August 7.
A total of 35 league stage matches will be played until September 13. The teams finishing first and second will face off in Qualifier 1, with the winner qualifying for the final. The third and fourth-placed teams will play the Eliminator, with the loser getting knocked out, whereas the winner will face the Qualifier 1 loser in Qualifier 2 for a spot in the final.
All the playoff matches, including the final on September 20, will be played at the Kensington Oval in Barbados.
The CPL matches have been scheduled in three different time slots: 5pm (2.30am IST on the next day, 10pm UK time), 7pm (4.30am IST, 12am UK time, both on the next day) and 8pm local time (5.30am IST, 1am UK time, both on the next day). On the only double header day - Sunday, September 6 - the first game will be played at 10am local time (7.30pm IST, 3pm UK time).
