Crewe Alexandra have signed left-back Josh Stephenson on loan from Premier League Brentford until January 2027.
The former Millwall academy graduate, 20, was promoted to the Bees' first-team squad this summer with the offer of a new contract until 2028 and will now develop his senior experience at the Mornflake Stadium.
Stephenson, who can also play at centre-back, was named 'Player of the Year' in Brentford's under-21 side last season that reached the final of the Premier League Cup.
He was named in three Premier League matchday squads and two in the FA Cup for Brentford's first-team last term but is yet to make an appearance.
