The NFL training camp is in full swing, with players looking to fight their way onto 53-man rosters across the league. For the nearby Detroit Lions, a former Spartan is looking to make himself a roster mainstay for 2026.
Bachie, a standout at Michigan State from 2016-2019, he has carved out a nice NFL career for himself after going undrafted in 2020.
After spending time with the Philadelphia Eagles, Cincinnati Bengals, Indianapolis Colts and Tennessee Titans, Bachie signed a one-year deal with the Lions this offseason.
During his press conference on Wednesday, Lion head coach Dan Campbell raved about the former Spartan. Campbell noted that Bachie is a smart, all out linebacker that is dependable and reliable. He noted how Bachie grasped the defense right away and has the ability to play multiple spots, including special teams.
