D.C. United have transferred forward Jacob Murrell to Scottish Premiership side Falkirk FC, the club announced Friday.
The 22-year-old striker joined D.C. as the No. 7 overall pick (first round) in the 2024 MLS SuperDraft.
Murrell contributed 4g/4a in 65 appearances for D.C. across all competitions.
"Jacob is a local talent who came to us as a first-round draft pick and grew into a professional over three seasons with this club," said managing director of soccer operations, Dr. Erkut Sogut.
"He gave this fanbase moments they will remember for a long time, and he earned everything he got here through his work.”
