Michele Di Gregorio believes his loan move from Juventus to Bournemouth was ‘the right decision’ at a ‘very important moment’ in his career, while describing the Premier League as ‘the most beautiful league in the world.’
Di Gregorio has joined Bournemouth on loan with an option to buy from Juventus.
Both clubs confirmed the deal on Tuesday morning, with the Bianconeri revealing the official transfer fee.

Bourmenouth have paid €1.3m for a one-season loan deal plus potential €800,000 add-ons.
Their option to buy is set at €12.7m plus €1.5m bonuses.
“I’m very happy to be here. This is a very important moment for me, and that’s why I think the decision to come here to Bournemouth was the right one,” Di Gregorio told Bournemouth’s official website.

“I felt the club’s desire to have me here, and I felt the ambition that this club has to continue to grow and do great things. The Premier League is the most beautiful league in the world. It’s an honour for me to be here and to have the chance to play and play at such a high level.”
During his two-year spell at the Allianz Stadium, Di Gregorio conceded 84 goals in as many matches across all competitions and kept 36 clean sheets.

He was named the Best Serie A goalkeeper in the 2023-24 season while playing for Monza.
Juventus have already signed Guglielmo Vicario from Tottenham to replace Di Gregorio, welcoming the Italian keeper on loan with an option to buy.
It’s the same transfer formula they’ll use to get Kamil Grabara from Wolfsburg, while Mattia Perin will join Palermo in Serie B.
