The Miami Dolphins have left South Florida for a joint practice with the Washington Commanders on Wednesday before the two teams meet on Friday at FedEx Field for their first of three preseason games.
Ahead of the practice session, which will take place at the Commanders' BigBear.ai Performance Center in Ashburn, Virginia, Dolphins head coach Jeff Hafley addressed the media and revealed defensive lineman Zach Sieler is dealing with an injury, which kept him out of practice on Monday.
It's unclear what the injury is, but Hafley did reveal that Sieler is week-to-week.
The 30-year-old is entering his eighth season with the Dolphins and has the biggest cap hit of any player on the team for 2026 ($11.42 million). Hopefully, this injury isn't too serious, and he can return to the practice field soon.
If this injury is more of a long-term issue, Miami will have to rely on Kenneth Grant, Jordan Phillips and Zeek Biggers at defensive tackle. However, it will give them a better look at Matthew Butler, Alex Huntley, Fatorma Mulbah and Keith Cooper Jr.
