Dolphins rookie wide receiver Caleb Douglas has earned his way into the starting lineup in Miami.

The team's first depth chart of the preseason lists Douglas as a starting receiver, and head coach Jeff Hafley said Douglas has been one of the team's most impressive performers to this point.

"It's been consistency over time. He's been really consistent," Hafley said of Douglas. "He's made some flash plays, and then he's made some plays where he needs to catch the ball, but he's probably been one of our most consistent guys, and he's showed up every day. So that's where he deserves to be at this point."

The 6-foot-3, 206-pound Douglas played two years at Florida and two years at Texas Tech, and the Dolphins are counting on him to play a lot as a rookie.
