Giannis Konstantelias’ move from PAOK to Borussia Dortmund is nearing completion after the Greek international underwent his medical and signed a four-year deal with the Bundesliga outfit on Sunday, according to local outlet Ruhr Nachrichten.
Dortmund are reportedly set to pay just under €30 million for the attacking midfielder, with only the final minor details left to be resolved before the move can be made official.
For now, Konstantelias has returned to Greece for private reasons. The attacking midfielder recently became a father for the second time and has therefore temporarily returned home, as reported by Ruhr Nachrichten.
According to Ruhr Nachrichten, Konstantelias was even approached at the airport and asked to explain the transfer, to which he simply replied: “It’s my decision.”
