Borussia Dortmund have signed midfielder Joey Veerman from Dutch side PSV, the Bundesliga club said in a statement on Tuesday.
The 27-year-old signed a contract until June 2031.
"Joey is a player whose skills will be of enormous help to us. We have deliberately focused our transfer activities this summer on central midfield because with Pascal Gross and Salih Özcan, we've lost two players there since the start of the year," managing director of sports Lars Ricken.
With PSV, Veerman has won three league titles (2024, 2025, 2026) and two Dutch Cups (2022, 2023). In four years at the club, he played 198 matches and scored 31 goals.
"Borussia Dortmund is a major club in Europe, and I'm proud to now be a part of it. I'm thrilled to be here and look forward to celebrating successes together with Dortmund," the player said.
