GIBSON CITY, Ill. (WCIA) -- Another Central Illinois athlete is choosing to keep his talents at home.
Gibson City-Melvin-Sibley pitcher Graydon Leonard announced his commitment to Illinois baseball on social media.
"It's kind of a dream come true," Leonard said. "Growing up as a kid, going to all the Illini events, you always wish to actually play and be the one that people are watching. So yeah, it's a surreal experience."
Leonard has won three straight regional titles with the Falcons, hoping to end his high school career with one more while also suiting up for the basketball and football teams.
