Drew Allar's final college season ended on a sour note, as he missed the second half of the 2025 season with an injury, but he returned to action on Thursday in the NFL.
The former Penn State quarterback made his first appearance with the Pittsburgh Steelers as they hosted the Green Bay Packers in their first preseason game. Allar got to finish the game and ended up being the player of the contest, leading Pittsburgh to a blowout victory.
Allar was once considered a first-round prospect, but inconsistencies and injuries led to his fall in the draft. Now, he hopes to prove he belongs in the NFL, and he is off to a good start in that regard.
