A 30-car field is set for Tuesday’s FloRacing Night in America event at Marshalltown (Iowa) Speedway, where a stout group of national and regional standouts will chase a $20,000 payday in the Hoker Trucking 50.
Series points leader Brandon Sheppard headlines the entry list alongside Hudson O’Neal, who has dominated the tour’s brief history at Marshalltown. O’Neal is a perfect 3-for-3 in FloRacing Series action at the quarter-mile oval, sweeping the tour’s previous visits in 2022, ’23 and ’25.
Bobby Pierce, Ricky Thornton Jr., Devin Moran, Nick Hoffman, Tim McCreadie, Ryan Gustin and last weekend’s Topless 100 winner Dan Ebert are among the other notable entrants. Sheppard, meanwhile, leads the series with two victories this season, both coming in his home state of Illinois at Spoon River and Lincoln Speedways.
Tuesday kicks off a Hawkeye State doubleheader that concludes with another $20,000-to-win, 50-lap event Wednesday at Mason City Motor Speedway. The two races also open the four-race Hawkeye State Great 8 points fund, which pays $2,500 to the top overall point earner and $10,000 across the top eight.
