Evaluating play of Colts' starters v. Lions in preseason

Many of the Indianapolis Colts starters on both sides of the ball saw their first preseason action in the finale against Detroit.

Most would play just the first possession.

The starting offensive line unit

On four dropbacks, Richardson was not pressured, according to PFF, while Seth McGowan totaled eight rushing yards on two carries.

CB Sauce Gardner

Gardner came away with an interception. Detroit's quarterback Luke Altmyer was 2-for-3 passing against the Colts' secondary for eight yards.

Colts' defensive front

No pressures were recorded by the Colts' defensive front on three Detroit dropbacks, and they gave up five rushing yards on one carry.
