Everton are interested in Burnley forward Zian Flemming

Everton are interested in luring Burnley forward Zian Flemming to the Hill Dickinson Stadium club this summer, according to Ben Jacobs. Toffees manager David Moyes is desperate to bolster his attack, and the Championship forward is the latest to be linked with Everton. Flemming bagged 11 goals in 29 Premier League appearances last term but could not help keep Burnley up. The 28-year-old Toffees target has hit the ground running in the Championship, notching a brace in the 2-2 draw against West Ham United on Sunday.

Everton could do with such an attacker but clubs from Italy, France and the Netherlands also want Flemming. Burnley are hoping to keep him to boost their chances of securing an immediate return to the Premier League at the end of next season.

Continuing his trade in the top-flight this season could appeal to the Dutchman, but Everton may need to table a juicy offer to have any chance of signing him.

They have also registered interest in Como attacker Assane Diao, while a bid for Tottenham Hotspur’s Richarlison has been lodged.

However, Spurs have rejected it as it is below their valuation and they are said to be looking for at least £35 million to sell him.

Flemming will not cost much and Moyes could look to make a concrete move for the former Millwall star.
